Nutrition and wellness retreats are a great way to learn some basics about how the foods you eat impact your health, learn some fun and easy, nutrient dense recipes, and enjoy some relaxation and healing in the mountains.
I host individuals, couples, families, and small groups at my cabin in the San Gabriel Mountains of Southern California, about 40 miles from Downtown Los Angeles. The day-long wellness retreats combine hiking, nutrition education, cooking lessons, and group support that will leave you feeling refreshed and empowered to make better food choices, with new skills for incorporating delicious, nutritious foods into your day-to-day life. Learn to prepare healthful, delicious, nutrient dense foods.
Nutrition & Wellness Retreats Designed for You
Delicious food and healing nature await! First, we’ll meet at the main road and guests will take a short hike to the cabin location. We’ll start with a lesson on how to make the perfect nutrient-dense smoothie. Then, we’ll have a lesson on how to assess, and improve the quality of your diet using a simple grading system, while enjoying our smoothies.
After returning to the cabin, guests take some personal rest time, we’ll convene in the kitchen for a lesson on how to prepare a delicious, nutrient-dense, plant based dish that guests will take home to share with friends and family. Some examples of what you can learn to make learn basic cooking skills and how to prepare simple, healthy meals from scratch.
Finally, guests will hike back to the rendezvous point and say goodbye. During the day, guests will be given an opportunity to share their personal wellness goals, and will be supported with the tools needed to get them closer to their goals. Educational booklets and recipes included.
